“Minoru Yamasaki – World Class Architect” is an exhibition designed to celebrate the life and work of American architect Minoru Yamasaki. Best known for his design of the World Trade Center in New York City, Yamasaki was one of the preeminent architects of the "New Formalism" style, blending elements of classicism with modernist designs. In 1973, Franklin & Marshall College commissioned Yamasaki & Associates to design a new college center. Situated in the center of campus, the new College Center opened in the spring of 1976, bringing student services together under a modern, two-story skylit atrium. The exhibit will run through January 31, 2012.
